• Where are AKU Boots Made?

  AKU Footwear is made a several factories. AKU Owns and manages factories in Italy, Romania, and Serbia. We also work with a manufacturing partner in Vietnam to help us make a few models. The origin is listed on every product page under the product details tab.

• Are AKU Boot Resolable?

  Many of our boots can be resoled locally by a cobbler with Vibram soles or other soles made for hiking and mountaineering. Each of our product pages lists whether a boot or shoe can be resolved. Please check under the product detail tab to see if the boot you are interested in is reasonable.

• Does AKU Repair Boots?

  Unfortunately, we do not have the capabilities in North America to repair or resole AKU boots and shoes in-house. Most local cobblers will be able to help repair or resole most AKU boots.
