What is AKU's Warranty Policy?

All AKU products sold through this website and authorized AKU footwear retailers are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects.

The warranty applies to any piece of footwear we make that is still possessed by the original owner. If the issue is determined to be due to the manufacturer's defect, we will repair or replace the item with an item of equal or greater value at our discretion should the original model be unavailable. AKU reserves the right to decide whether to repair faulty products, substitute them with a new one, or refund a portion of your order value to cover the repair cost. We reserve the right to refuse the warranty request or only issue a partial credit at our discretion.

What is Not Covered Under Warranty?
    - Wear on the rubber sole of our Footwear
    - The laces included with our Footwear
    - General wear and tear or damage from use
    - Foot discomfort after use

Are Cosmetic Issues Covered?
All AKU footwear is handmade in an AKU-owned European factory or a trusted partner factory. Because of the handmade nature of our footwear, there can be small differences, variations, or cosmetic marks on our boots and shoes. Cosmetic issues are covered by warranty in two scenarios.
    - When the cosmetic issue impacts the use or functionality of our boots and shoes.
    - When the cosmetic issue creates a noticeable negative impact on the look of the footwear. In this case, the warranty claim must be made while the footwear is still in new condition.
